Tottenham missing Luka Modric this season.

Tottenham missing their best player ever Luka Modric
The 2011-2012 season was one of the best season for Tottenham Spurs, finishing 4th in the league and only missing out to the Uefa Champions League due to Chelsea winning it from them, a team which Spurs finished above that season. One of the main players of that season was Luka Modric, His pace, composure and technique was one of the satisfying results that they performed so well in that season. His ability to control the game was absolutely maticulous. He had only six assists that season but he created many chances, scored goals.
His role that season was to become a playmaker like Xavi. He would pass the ball in all areas with a very high passing accuracy and managed to create 2 chances in a game. He created a good partnership with Parker who would help in the slowing down of opponents counter attacks. Adebayor that season was absolutely awesome, He managed to score 17 Premier League goals and this was a result of Modric's style of controlling the tempo of the game.

At the end of the season, he was sold to the Spanish Club Real Madrid for a transfer fee of 33 million euros and a change was desperately required for a midfielder in Tottenham Spurs, this has been shown this season with Tottenham only scoring 9 goals and conceeding many goals. Luka was a very good player, this is the player Tottenham missing this season
