On Real Madrid's first goal, Karim Benzema assisted Cristiano Ronaldo as soon as he bet the offside trap of Real Sociedad and made a quick run through Sociedad's defense. Ronaldo controlled the ball down with his first touch at the near post and slotted it home into the other side for his first of the match.
On the second goal, the move was really maticulous. Ronaldo dribbled down the left wing and quickly spotted Benzema in the middle of the d-area with the outside of his boot. With no mistake, the striker struck a first-time shot and it was in the back of the net into the bottom right corner.
Real Madrid were showing no mercy at the moment, They continued to dominate. When Ronaldo skipped past defenders on another counter attack, the referee pointed to the spot and awarded a penalty after Markel Bergara's hand made contact with the ball. Showing no mercy, Ronaldo scored the penalty at the middle of the goal to make the match beyond all doubt.
Madrid were having great fun. Sociedad had their moments on counterattack but the players were not showing their composure, leaving many players unmarked and giving them too much space to break out.
Sami Khedira was also in the scoreline who scored first goal in this season. Dani Carvajal made a great run through Sociedad's defense and played a ambitious pass to Gareth Bale, who played a through pass infront of Sociedad's defense and Khedira blasted the shot with his right foot down the middle.
Sociedad got a consolation goal, but that didn't matter.
Cristiano Ronaldo completed his hatrick with a ferocious freekick at the bottom right corner in the 76th minute and took his goal scoring tally to 24 goals in 17 games for Real Madrid for this season.
